Self-Edit · Chilliwack

Web design for Chilliwack businesses, built by a Fraser Valley team.

From Sardis to Promontory to Vedder Crossing, Chilliwack businesses have been calling Self-Edit for websites since 1998. We are half an hour down Highway 1 in Abbotsford, and we build sites that work the way a Chilliwack customer uses them: on a phone, in a hurry, looking for someone nearby.

What a Chilliwack business needs from a website

Chilliwack is big enough that the map pack changes between neighbourhoods, and a search typed in Sardis shows a different page than one typed downtown. A website cannot move your pin, but it can say exactly where you are and what you do so Google, and the customer, do not have to guess. Fast pages, a clear first screen, a phone number that is a button, service pages that name the places you serve. That is the whole job, and it is the same web design work we do for Abbotsford, Mission and Langley businesses.

For a trade or a service-area business, the site is what the customer checks after the map shows your name. It does not need to be big. It needs to be true, quick and current, with photos of your actual work rather than stock pictures of somebody else’s.

What we build, and what it costs

Custom website design, redesigns that keep what already ranks, online stores, Canadian hosting and maintenance. Prices are public on getselfedit.com, month to month where they are monthly, no contract anywhere.

Questions people ask

Do you have an office in Chilliwack?

No. Our office is on McCallum Road in Abbotsford, and we meet Chilliwack clients in person when it helps. The work and the support come from the same people either way.

Will my site rank in Chilliwack?

A website that says Chilliwack truthfully can rank for Chilliwack searches, and we measure that from Chilliwack rather than guessing. Our SEO Abbotsford side runs the tracking (in RankTrack, our own rank tracker) and the Google Business Profile work.

Can you fix a site that another company built?

Yes. Most of our redesign work starts that way. We keep the pages that are working, fix the ones that are not, and you keep ownership of everything.
